Product Designing

The 3D Printing Specialist Limited is well equipped with trained product designers that would help you from inception to completion of your digital product. Please visit our Contact Us Page with your design request.

If a working prototype is required, then we are here for you also. Please scroll down to Manufacturing by 3D Printing on this page for further details.

Manufacturing by 3D Printing

The 3D Printing Specialist Limited offers three types of 3D printing technologies. They are Fused Deposition Modeling (FDM), Stereolithography Apparatus (SLA) and Selective Layer Sintering (SLS).

If you are not too sure which 3D printing technology best suits your need, then please visit our Q&A page for more details.

Getting your 3D printed part is easy as 123. Just send us a copy of your digital file in STL or AMF format with the specifics listed below:
  • Type of 3D printing technology required
  • Color of Material
  • Infill Percentage Required (only for F.D.M Printing)
  • Material Type

An Estimate would then be send to you for your approval.

SIZE:
  • Maximum dimensions for each part - 196 mm x 147 mm x 250 mm

MATERIALS:
  • HARD - Glass-like prints with a crisp finish are obtained when using this Resin. Prints will retain their shape under stretch and compression whilst displaying a high stiffness and high hardness. When using Hard Resin your 3D printed objects that behave like commercial ABS.

  • FIRM - This Firm Resin is ideal for creating parts that hold their shape whilst also being able to bend and flex slightly without snapping. This resin produces parts with similar mechanical behavior to that of Polypropylene.

  • FLEXIBLE - Soft, flexible parts can be created using this Flexible Resin. The 3D printed part can be stretched without snapping or breaking, making this resin ideal for flexible applications. Thin or hollow structures can be bent or squashed and return to their original shape with ease.

  • HIGH TENSILE - When strong parts are required, this High Tensile Strength resin is your best choice. It's capable of producing incredibly detailed parts along with great strength, higher than that of injection Moulded Polycarbonate with similar mechanical behavior. High Tensile Strength Resin produces 3D printed parts that are extremely strong and durable while maintaining incredibly high accuracy.

  • TOUGH - This Resin produces parts that are extremely durable and resilient. Printed parts will be strong and rigid, but capable of bending and flexing before displaying cracks or breaks. The 3D printed part can bent using force, but will return to it's original shape.

  • CASTABLE - This Castable resin is great for creating parts to be used for investment casting without the need for laborious wax carving. Each print will have a matte surface that would help you to visualize how the end Casted Part would be. This Castable Resin is designed to burn evenly at a regularly increasing temperature to reduce gas pressure in the cast.

  • HIGH TEMPERATURE - This High Temperature Resin is ideal for short term injection moulded tools or something that needs to withstand high temperatures. Perfect for parts that need to retain shape and structure up to 200 °C due to its high heat deflection temperature (HDT). The Part would not decompose under these conditions either.
